Mission Statement
The West Chester Borough Democratic Committee’s purpose is to nurture and enhance the Democratic community of West Chester, PA, while promoting Democratic values and candidates seeking office.
The Committee represents Zone 9 of the Chester County Democratic Committee (CCDC) and consists of two Committeepersons for the eight Precincts (seven Wards, with ward 2 having two precincts).
Democratic voters in each precinct elect Committee Members at the gubernatorial primary every four years, next is June 2022. CCDC replaces members who resign between elections by appointment according to CCDC procedures.
The West Chester Democratic Committee shares in the Values and Issues enunciated by CCDC (see “What Do Chesco Dems Stand For?“).
The Committee is always eager to receive comments and suggestions from any borough resident, regardless of party affiliation; Democrats are welcome at our monthly meetings. To comment on current issues and news, please use our Facebook page.
